It was a series of different technologies we had ot develop and apply for patents on, and now that we have it, we're working on a prototype. It took until April of 1984, and by 1988 I had met someone to invest in it, and I started the world's first digital projector company, Projectavision.

It was funded in 2006 with about $8M in investments, and we were fortunate to have the benefit of that investment in the development of the intellectual property. We also assumed over 50 pending patents, from ten different patent families. C can you talk about how you ended up at Confident Technologies?

They also talked about their outlook on the venture capital market, and how likely they are to be investing this year, given the worried economy. If I've seen companies that are similar to them--or half a dozen companies--even if the area might be big and exciting, it will be hard to make an investment. We're really excited about 2009.
