Our sister company, Turner, began Media Camp San Francisco in 2012. This is our second class, and it culminates in this Demo Day we just had. These companies were each offering a product or platform that really addressed one of those areas. When we saw the great success that they were doing, we started our own program in 2013.

On July 27, 2012 the AT&T Developer Program and Apigee produced the Mobile App Hackathon in Los Angeles, California. Spearheaded by Alex Donn , the event was designed for both technical and non-technical attendees to build apps over the course of a weekend at Io/La , an incubator/co-work space in the heart of Hollywood.

A traffic jam of expensive cars lined up to pull into the packed parking lot of MuckerLab for its second graduating class demo day. MuckerLab has already secured its reputation as one of the hottest startup accelerators in town with a particular emphasis on product for incubation-stage software, services and media ventures.

Tucker Kain: In 2012, when the current ownership group bought the Dodgers, the group they pulled together was pretty heavily investment focused. What we realized, is that using a platform like the Dodgers to validate those products, and at the same time, solve some of our own problems, made a lot of sense.
