Ixia Drops On Revenue Report

Calabasas-based test equipment and software maker Ixia dropped 25 percent in trading Tuesday, after the company announced revised financial results for its second quarter. Ixia did note that two of its recent acquisition--Anue Systems and BreakingPoint Systems--both are expected to deliver at the high end of its range of revenues.

Ixia Buys Agilent Product Line For $44M

Ixia Buys Catapult Communications

Calabasas-based Ixia said late Monday afternoon that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Catapult Communications, a developer of 3G and 4G wireless networking test products. Ixia said the acquisition will complement its IP performance test systems and service verification products.
