Santa Monica-based Clearstone Ventures appears to be on an exit roll this month, with the acquisition Thursday of Ankeena Networks , a supplier of software for content delivery networks. Clearstone's Sumant Mandal sits on Ankeena's board of directors.

Over the last few months, Santa Monica-based Clearstone Ventures (www.clearstone.com) has had a number of high profile exits in its portfolio. The other three have been acquisitions, all of which are in the three digit sorts of millions, hundreds of millions, that sort of range. We were the Series A in there.
