Marina Del Rey-based Internet video-on-demand firm CinemaNow has been acquired by Sonic Solutions, Sonic said late Wednesday afternoon. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. EchoStar Communications, Index Ventures, Lions Gate Entertainment, Menlo Ventures, and Trans Cosmos USA.
