Sometimes we draft business plans and coach the entrepreneurs on their pitch, and sometimes we even help develop a business model. A few years ago “venture capital” was a revenue model. Many entrepreneurs have an idea but don’t know how to monetize it.

Earlier this month, Los Angeles-based LifeCrowd (www.lifecrowd.com) unveiled its service to help connect people with real life activities. The firm is initially focusing on the Los Angeles market, and connecting people with fun, interesting classes, activities, and more in the local area.

For me, FI was great for networking with Adeo and the other mentors, who are all world class successful entrepreneurs themselves, as well as the other founders in the program. We've made some investments here and there, and are now building a team, and making a lot of investments in SoCal tech companies. Sending the zeros and ones into the air was the same and sending nutrients into your mitochondria, except that at Visalus, it was not capital intensive like it was at SkyPipeline. So where is the fund now?
