X1 Discovery Ships Social Media Discovery Software

Pasadena-based X1 Discovery , the Idealab-backed electronic discovery firm split out from X1, said today that it has shipped its first product, X1 Social Discovery. The company said its software is designed to collect "tens of thousands" of social media items per hour, and uses the X1 engine to allow users to search and find information.
