Being in business since I was 18 years old has led to a lot of conferences, meetings, mixers, classes, tradeshows and after parties. It was at the South by Southwest Interactive conference in the media room when I overheard the founders being interviewed. If these companies have email lists even better!

For how to market your blog in order to get site visitors I suggest checking out the Marketing Show and if you can attend the next Pub Con it is one the best conferences to learn about getting web traffic. This means more people sign up for your email list when you have the pop up box than when you don’t. Have an email capture.
