A few months ago I wrote about an entrepreneur, Sam Rosen, whom we brought on as an EIR at Upfront Ventures. His message was that he realized he needed to move his girlfriend’s stuff into a storage facility due to apartment flooding. Now remember that Sam is an entrepreneur. “Imagine you were a Phd wireless chip designer out of UCSD and then Qualcomm. I honestly believe I learned more by rising up the ranks and becoming the president of my fraternity than I did in the class room reading about supply & demand curves in economics.
