My personal favorite and best fit for GRP Partners was Thumbtack. In addition they are a platform (the OS part) where they’re encouraging developers to build third party apps on their platform. They walked through 4 minutes of PowerPoint garble (of a 5 minute pitch) before unveiling a beautifully designed UI.

I took an advanced computer course in high school where I learned to build databases in Ashton Tate’s dBase III+ and to compile my designs using a product called Clipper.
