Earbits is an online radio platform where artists, labels and concert promoters bid for airtime on a per-song-played basis, and use the exposure to sell their music, event tickets and more. It’s the first performance-based marketing platform specifically designed for the music industry.

The chart shows three scarce resources and their improvements over time. As an example of how dumb they were (for those that don’t remember) whenever you changed one field in a browser-designed program the entire screen had to refresh. The costs of multi-platform development are too expensive.

Wordpress in particular is fairly resource heavy right out of the box so speeding up everything else is a critical piece of running a site on this platform. The problem with most of the share badges out there is that they load a Javascript file from an external source which can take several seconds on a bad day.
