According to the company, the round was led by Howard Morgan, and also included Elon Musk, Tim Draper, and Draper Fisher Jurvetson and Zone Ventures. Size of the funding was not disclosed.

Arcadia-based Siimpel , a developer of micro-electro mechanical systems (MEMS) based cameras, has been acquired by Tessera Technologies , Tessera announced Tuesday afternoon. The deal was worth $15M in cash. Siimpel was founded in 2000, and had 42 employees, as well as a stable of 65 patents and patent applications.
