I want to invest in entrepreneurs that have the capacity to be number one at whatever they are doing, and do it within our skill base, which is direct-to-consumer. I love entrepreneurs.

My favorite new software tool is DailyBurn. Problem is – Weight Watchers software TOTALLY SUCKS. If you have an iPhone you can scan the UPC code on the food you eat and they will be entered directly into DailyBurn done through a partnership with a company called Occipital. I’m not that public about my weight.

I believe that it is part of the DNA of an entrepreneur – being so competitive that you’re practically sick when you lose. Entrepreneurs are neurotic about it. They had a prominent NorCal investor already so I thought a SoCal lead would make sense – that I could help them in a more hands-on way.
