VCs constantly share cross fund information and are therefore always getting dialed into what is going on in the industry. These kinds of office space arrangement are often called “technology incubators&# or “startup labs&# or something similar. Anyone have positive or negative experience in such an incubator?

Sam Teller: Launchpad is an accelerator in Santa Monica. For two years, it was a mentorship program, that worked with twenty three different companies, but did not have a fund, did not have an office, and didn't take any equity. They have partnered with Cross Campus to bring education and offline matchmaking events to Santa Monica quarterly. s first accelerator called The Fort and raised VC funding. It provides tools like the Equity Calculator and curates and vets vendors that service startups. I wanted to give back to my community in the D.C.
