There are the new tools like Tumblr and Posterous. The disadvantage is that you can’t install a lot of additional tools that use Javascript. To add a post to Facebook button I use a tool called fbShare.me. That way people who want to get your blog by RSS and/or email can do so. Blogger kinda sucks IMHO.
