We have software which allows you to select which web sites you want to do this for, prioritizing them above others, and dedicates space on your hard drive which provides a faster, always-on capability for specific web sites. It's completely transparent to the web sites we are supporting. A large site will run faster.

If you look at the articles on a site like CNN, and the 650 opinions you see after every article, your eyes just start to go crossed. Chris Lyman: The way the technology manifests itself, is we have a database of two million names. We have about 50 political sites using the tool already.

GumGum was founded in 2007 when a team of seasoned Internet entrepreneurs realized web site publishers were missing out on valuable revenue by not monetizing their image-based content.
