David Sacks, one of the co-founders of PayPal, pitched Geni.com, an online site focused on both family trees and social networking.

Pasadena-based Big Stage Entertainment , the startup which uses photos to create animated, 3-D facial avatars of users, has added new content from a game from GGL Global Gaming. The new content deal also came in conjunction with new features which allow users to add their own, custom backgrounds into BigStage's site.
