Viant Jumps In IPO

Irvine-based Viant, which develops advertising software, had a successful IPO on Wednesday, selling 10 million shares of its stock at $25 per share last night, above its initial estimated IPO price of $19.00 per share in its first day of trading. The company jumped all the way to $47.72 in trading on its first day of trading.

Viant Launches IPO

Irvine-based a href="[link] Technology, a developer of advertising software, says it has launched an IPO, intending to sell 7,500,000 shares of its Class A common stock in an offering on the Nasdaq Global Market as DSP. The IPO will raise as much as $181M for Viant. The company has given an estimated offering range of between $19.00

Science Inc. To Buy Social Bookmarking Site Delicious

the startup studio and incubator run by former MySpace CEO Michael Jones, has acquired longtime social bookmarking site Delicious , the company disclosed this morning. Delicious was previously owned by Steven Chen and Chad Hurley, the founders of YouTube, who had acquired Delicious from Yahoo back in 2011 via their company, Avos Systems.
