Those that try generally agree and remain customers – but since we are initially asking Clinicians to change the format of their practice delivery, the initial sale can be challenging. My first company, Web Elite, provided high-end Web and application development services for the Automotive community (suppliers and OEMs).

Previous to this, I ran a custom, mobile application development shop. Why are these colleges using you, rather than investing in their own custom applications? Beta customers are key, and listening close to make sure you have product-market-fit with that beta, before you expand lots of sales and marketing effort.

The “private sale” market phenomenon was started in France by Vente-Privee (literally means “private sale”) and was replicated in Germany by BrandsforFriends. Gilt Group is currently the largest private sale web site in US. In the show we talked about why this is important to mobile application developers.
