I started telling people privately that I thought Google should buy Disqus for the same reasons Facebook wants to own commenting in the first place. I’m too busy this week to find all the links for you but a quick Google or TechCrunch search should reveal many. Maybe Google should just buy Disqus? So should I switch?

Some of these capabilities are finally entering the market, primarily introduced by non-telecom entrants like Google and Apple, such as: visual voicemail, screening voicemail messages and immediately connecting you to callers with whom you wish to speak, and displaying caller ID on your television. I find it amusing when a journalist writes an article about a prominent startup (either privately held or preparing for an IPO) and decries that, “They’re not even profitable!” If you spent the 3 years perfecting some hugely differentiated technology IP that may also be different. One of them is profitability.
