VIRURL Launches New Ad Widget

Santa Monica-based VIRURL , which is headed by Francisco Diaz-Mitoma, said today that it has launched a new widget aimed at web publishers. VIRURL says it is looking to "kill of the banner ad", which the company says is an ineffective way to monetize the web. Diaz-Mitoma is the former founder of Titan Gaming.
