Santa Monica-based Clearstone Ventures has had another exit in its portfolio, this time with the acquisition of Cetas , a developer of cloud data analytics software, by VMware. Cetas was incubated in Clearstone's Palo Alto offices by Sudhakar Muddu, a Ph.D. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
