In the US we now have some very well established incubation programs run by high-caliber mentors including IdeaLab, yCombinator, TechStars, BetaWorks and Launchpad LA. If I’m counseling young people I often coach them to consider getting degrees that will be practical for becoming more employable when they graduate.
