Report: Slacker Loses CEO

VentureWire said it confirmed the departure of Dennis Mudd with an investor in the company. Slacker is venture backed by Austin Ventures, Centennial Ventures, Mission Ventures, Rho Ventures, and Sevin Rosen Funds. The firm has raised around $70M in funding.

Nirvanix Raises $10M, Names New CEO

San Diego-based Nirvanix , the provider of cloud storage services, said today that it has raised another $10M in a funding, and appointed a new CEO. The firm said the new round is a Series B, and comes from investors Intel Capital, Mission Ventures, Valhalla Partnes, and Windward Ventures.
