It might also be that within the forums in which these ads were shown, an aggressive, in-your-face approach would have been inappropriate.

It is not limited to the realm of the top executive or board of directors, who could bring in consultants for studies and analysis.

It’s not that they’re particularly negative but the fact is that supporting roles at investment firms are designed to show the partners the risks in deals and the “upside case” always requires huge assumptions to be believed. You are going to “study” the details before making a decision. Yeah, sure. Wait, there’s more!
