When we first alpha tested this, we just had watchable entertainment, movies and TV, many of them popping up in second screen apps. Before, people would sit down to watch Netflix at their desktop. It''s a very fractured process. That''s not true now.

Netflix might kill their video business. When connected, it’s a retina screen for the laptop. Ya, they’re slick and smooth but they are also heavy, they hurt your wrists (whoever designed the sharp surface should lose their job) and they are slow. Mac sales will eventually slow as people switch to tablets.

One company that I previously wrote about trying to change this industry is, Solve Media , (I am not an investor) has created an interesting ad unit designed to drive up brand “engagement&# and recall. So people will spend money online to get you to sign up for credit cards or Netflix but not to change your laundry detergent.
