Invest more heavily in platform services. I created an accelerator & mentor network (Launchpad LA). 7 times out of 10 he knows what’s going on before I do and is either slipping a paper on my desk, texting me or emailing me something about to go down. Rebrand with a name that would authentically lay out our values.

SocialEngine is a white-label, community platform. However Gmail is only private email conversations. We have some great mentors now. Thanks to TechStars, we've got an awesome mentor who's co-habitating with us now, and we're learning something daily from him. Alex Benzer: I'm actually building two startups.

I do it every morning and many school days I get email and/or blogging out of the way in the early morning so I can cuddle up with them before school. When I was done I had to send an email to Adam Lezack that was urgent and due by the morning. I will call, email, text or see each one whenever they have something urgent going on.

I acted as the occasional mentor, advisor and coach to Ethan. MyTime aims to be the first industry-wide platform to help create consistency across the SKUs in services businesses. The company was called Red Beacon. I was standing with him when he won the TechCrunch 50 award.

LB: Currently, we are about 75% and that’s really because in this phase we have developed what I think is the most critical aspect of our platform, which is the technology that allows us to truly build our community.
