Early on GumGum began to experiment with overlaying rich media ads through Flash with photos until technology progressed and they moved over to Javascript. Though competitors have sprung up, Tanz welcomes the competition to help define the market. What started as a tech company is gaining ground as a media company.

The Google Analytics panel was a big success with a great turnout of over 150 people at the Mahalo office in Santa Monica. Set aside 5 minutes, get your cut and paste skills ready and prepare to collect analytics data via the 2 lines or so of JavaScript provided by Google with your account. Help is everywhere.
