The latest number released from the United States Department of Labor finds that 2009 was an ugly year for Californians, as measured by the number of mass layoffs and jobs lost. Report: Tech Layoffs At Highest Level In Three Years

Oversee Cuts 18 Percent

Los Angeles-based Oversee.net is not immune to the stormy economy, and told socalTECH Thursday that is cutting 18 percent of the firm's workforce, or a total of 38 people, including some managers.
