For us, it was a big departure from social networking and a new commitment to social entertainment. In your opinion, what events, companies, or people made the biggest impact on the technology world in 2010? No doubt, it was Facebook and Twitter, which were incredible businesses for 2010.

Display ad numbers released today from Internet analysis firm comScore shows that CPMs for Internet publishers were highest for newspapers, and lowest for social networking sites. According to comScore, in April 2010 the CPMs for display ad impressions were $6.99 CPM, and entertainment sites at $4.75. for sports sites.

The second obvious value drive is that it was one of our first true “social graphs.&# So resume + directionally-correct social graph = goldmine for recruiting, networking and marketing.
