I was really into graphic design in high school, and took several summer workshops at Caltech.

I was then brought into a fund as an EIR, an Entrepreneur-in-Residence for Epic Ventures. At Amplify, I evolved into wanting to do a fund, and thought about doing a regular venture fund. If you look at just Caltech, UCLA, and USC, and you look at our population base, we''re pouring out more engineers than pretty much anywhere.

It became a theme in my keynote at Caltech on the future of social networking. Seth’s interest in helping others grew out of his lack of having a mentor. He was drawn to Stanford by the people ecosystem- access to professors and mentors. Seth raised $100k in angel funding to fuel operations.
