It’s OK because in an era where you can much more rapidly prototype and build products it is far more beneficial to launch your first version, get initial customer traction and then talk to your customer base to understand how well it meets their needs. In case you were out of town for the weekend, BetterWorks and Coloft of Santa Monica put together an amazing and area stimulating HackFest ( #hackfest ) on August 14th. Cool Car Pools for example, an application to help co-workers locate each other that they could carpool with, demoed an entire use case for us.

This past SWLA (February 24-26) was like non other and the 5th event to take place at Coloft here in Santa Monica. Tyler has helped coach dozens of companies through pitching and presenting at Launch Conf and formerly TechCrunch 50. Startup Weekend LA has grown to become a very special event here in Los Angeles.
