We moved from our loft in Venice to a new tech campus in Santa Monica. Personally, my work has shifted 80 percent to my mobile device for work communication, text, email and reading. We've always known how important it is as VCs to invest in founders.

We're in Santa Monica, and sometime people think we're a venue or rental space for events, but what we are, is a 100 percent software company.

We had software executives from Google, Yahoo!, They have developed a cloud-based platform for merchants to publish to multiple distribution networks, including social, mobile and email. DataPop : DataPop was founded by performance marketing veterans from Yahoo! Commission Junction, MySpace, TicketMaster and many more.

He also designed the Farmville iPhone application (top iPhone app), and worked on corporate development deals including Microsoft, Yahoo, Zynga Japan, and Zynga corporate strategy. CallFire.com is a small company with fewer than 20 employees located in beautiful Santa Monica. As of May 2010, CallFire has over 20,000 customers!

Advertising is also what allows you to watch Hulu for free, use Yahoo! When I as a 41-year old living in Santa Monica with 2 young boys type “Halloween Costume&# into Google it is pretty clear that there is a highly likelihood or intent by me to shop for Halloween goods. We have spam filters for our email.

Ian Rogers – Topspin Media Ian Rogers was the GM of Yahoo Music before heading to Topspin Media in April 2008 as CEO. Mediacode was sold to Yahoo. Named as one of the 20 most innovative startups in the country, based in Santa Monica. He blogs here and tweets here. Previously Ian worked for AOL’s Nullsoft unit.

NAME Yahoo. Another client, Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison, just closed on a deal to buy ex- Yahoo. The narrow, 3-mile strip of land that runs from Santa Monica through Venice, and is now stretching down to Playa Vista, has been dubbed "Silicon Beach" due to the heavy concentration of Internet companies and executives there.
