CPMs Highest For Newspapers, Sports Sites

Display ad numbers released today from Internet analysis firm comScore shows that CPMs for Internet publishers were highest for newspapers, and lowest for social networking sites. According to comScore, in April 2010 the CPMs for display ad impressions were $6.99 for newspaper sites, and $6.29 for sports sites.

Hulu Expects $240M In Revenues In 2010

Los Angeles-based television streaming site Hulu expects to make $240M in 2010, according to Jason Kilar, the firm's CEO. Kilar, who revealed the numbers at today's NewTeeVee conference in San Francisco, also said the firm had $108M in revenues in 2009.

Irvine-based Kurion , the developer of nuclear waste remediation technology, is eyeing a new challenge: cleaning up the notorious Hanford nuclear weapons site, according to a report today from the Wall Street Journal. Kurion's technology absorbs radioactive waste and converts it into glass, making it easier to dispose of safely.

Hello Music Launches Site For Vintage Music Gear
