Hulu Sues Former Google Exec's New Startup Over Name, Humu

Los Angeles-based streaming television service Hulu has sued a new startup, Humu , founded by former Google head of people operations Laszlo Bock, over its name. Bock launched his startup in May of last year via a posted on LinkedIn. The lawsuit was filed with the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

MakerSquare Opens Coding School In LA

MakerSquare , which operates coding camps and classes to help students get software jobs, is setting up a new location in Los Angeles, according to the Hack Reactor collective. The two said that MakerSquare will launch its first class on June 29th. San Francisco-based Hack Reactor acquired MakerSquare in January.
