CPMs Highest For Newspapers, Sports Sites

Display ad numbers released today from Internet analysis firm comScore shows that CPMs for Internet publishers were highest for newspapers, and lowest for social networking sites. According to comScore, in April 2010 the CPMs for display ad impressions were $6.99 for newspaper sites, and $6.29 for sports sites.

ReachLocal To Shut Bizzy

Woodland Hills-based ReachLocal , the online marketing firm which helps small and medium sized business place Internet advertising, is shutting down its Bizzy local business recommendations site, according to a blog post from the site. Hulu: $420M In Revenues, 1.5 Million Paying Subscribers

Los Angeles-based Hulu CEO Jason Kilar said Thursday afternoon that the company brought in approximately $420M in revenues in 2011, up 60 percent from 2010, and now has more than 1.5 According to Kilar, the firm now expects that Hulu Plus will account for more than half of the site's overall business by later this year.
