Google Invests $200M In EDF Developed Wind Project

Google said that Spnning Spur joins 10 other renewable energy investments it has made since 2010. EDF started construction on Spinning Spur in June of 2012, and the firm says the project went into operation in December of 2012. The wind project has a capacity of 161 megawatts, or enough to power more than 60,000 U.S.
