Especially when there are things like: Amazon S3 / EC2 / AWS outage this morning. They also are VERY interesting for background processing tasks that take compute resources or from a storage cloud standpoint. Some other points - LAMP,Net, Java - doesn't make much difference. Large number of Players in Cloud Computing.
