San Diego-based SG Biofuels , the developer of specialized seed crops for biofuels, said today that it has inked a number of customers for its hybrid Jatropha seed. Names and financial impact of the customer deals was not disclosed. The firm said it has deals to deploy 250,000 acres ofits crop, which is designed to provide large volumes of oil to be used to develop biodiesel, bio jet fuel, and specialty chemicals.
