It comes courtesy of Google and Amazon-backed startup Anthropic, which was only founded in 2021. More than 350,000 people signed up to the waitlist to use Claude 2, the most recent version of the language model. As part of the latter deal, Amazon employees and cloud customers will get early access to the technology.
