San Diego-based Prometheus Laboratories , a specialty pharmaceuticals and diagnostics firm, has been acquired by Nestle Health Sciences S.A. , a subsidiary of Nestle S.A. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The firms said that the buy will support Nestle's efforts to provide science-based nutritional solutions.
