Cerritos-based Connect3 , a developer of advertising, merchandising, and promotions software, is now officially part of DemandTec, a Bay area firm that develops promotional planning software. DemandTec originally announced the acquisition in January. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Cerritos-based Connect3 Systems, a developer of advertising, merchandising, and promotions software, has been acquired by San Carlos-based DemandTec, DemandTec said Monday. Connect3's software is being used by such companies as Best Buy, The Home Depot, ShopKo, Academy Sports + Outdoors, ACE Hardware, Office Depot, and others.
