I won’t belabor this – I have an investment in this space ( ad.ly ) so I’m biased. I think everybody heard about this acquisition. I think this classifies as a “crack filler&# and I’m not sure I would have done the investment for that reason. In my mind, not a typical VC investment.

He wanted to build direct customer relationships to get product feedback but only 2% of customers would ever return their registration cards.
