I acted as the occasional mentor, advisor and coach to Ethan. And I certainly didn’t want him having to trapse up-and-down Sand Hill Road informing every VC of his next idea. We will stay in LA and then Southern California before branching out into our 2nd & 3rd markets.

We are not “finders” and usually serve the role of advisor and attorney. Sometimes we draft business plans and coach the entrepreneurs on their pitch, and sometimes we even help develop a business model. A few years ago “venture capital” was a revenue model. I really like the focus of your blog.

Earlier this month, Los Angeles-based LifeCrowd (www.lifecrowd.com) unveiled its service to help connect people with real life activities. The firm is initially focusing on the Los Angeles market, and connecting people with fun, interesting classes, activities, and more in the local area.
