About What we do Portfolio People Blog Contact. This is an EC2 test run on a pair of Large instances. Netty , Vert.x , and Java servlets are fast, but we were surprised how much faster they are than Ruby , Django , and friends. We ran each test on EC2 and our i7 hardware. Starting again with EC2. March 28, 2013.

With that breadth we decided to move the project''s results to a stand-alone site separate from this blog. Openresty takes the lead for multiple queries on EC2. A reader has posted this blog entry to Hacker News, and we invite you to comment there. Thanks to those contributions, the number of tests has grown to over 50.

I'm blogging from the CalTech Enterprise Forum. Especially when there are things like: Amazon S3 / EC2 / AWS outage this morning. PIM based on Java that would be up-to-date on all your devices. Server and client in Java. Java as a platform wasn't ready to deliver on client side. I would tend to agree.
