During my second startup we never considered using cloud computer processing for our real-time processes but we did run some batch processes there. It’s needed for Fandango, RottenTomatoes, Movies.com, Lunch.com and scores of other companies. Processing. At the time we viewed Amazon’s offering, EC2 as too nascent.
