At the time we viewed Amazon’s offering, EC2 as too nascent. They built in a feature called “auto scaling&# that monitored for traffic spikes and automatically provisioned new servers on demand and decommissioned them if your traffic surge subsided. It’s the input screens where we enter data or search requests.
