The topic of whether the web is dead was kicked off by Chris Andersen of Wired Magazine in this article. The Internet existed long before the World Wide Web and web browsers were created.

However, these platforms could be interesting for prototype and pilot solutions. The other conclusion was that you need to have a migration path from the platform.

I also hope to lay out a way to develop a healthy degree of skepticism for the more outlandish arguments. I believe this use of cryptocurrency will develop and flourish long after the dust settles from the hype and crash of cryptocurrencies that we’re experiencing in 2017.
