Monrovia, California-based Aerovironment , which develops unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for the military market, reports that it has received a $13M contract from the United States Air Force. AeroVironment said the contract is expected to run until September 28, 2023.

Monrovia-based Soliant , the developer of concentrating photovoltaic solar panels, reported an install in Chatsworth today, saying it has installed its systems on the roof of MBK Tape Solutions, a firm which fabricates adhesive tape and flexible materials. Soliant said the system generates 10kW of grid-connected electricity.
