BlackLine Systems Hires Chief Marketing Officer

Los Angeles-based financial software developer BlackLine Systems has hired its first, Chief Marketing Officer, the company announced today. BlackLine said it has hired David Downing, most recently the Chief Marketing Officer of NetSuite, as its first CMO. The company is backed by private equity firm Silver Lake.
